About Us

e-Learning and the Blackboard of the future

Our Story

Basic education in our public and private schools has always been guided by a policy that dictate the approach taken in the preparation and delivery of content to learners. Currently the annual teaching plan (ATP) as compiled by the Department of Basic Education guides the Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement (CAPS). It is now more evident than ever that going digital teaching and learning is inevitable.
Digital education: similar to traditional classroom-based learning, requires quality content in addition to, and support for, the teachers that facilitate the delivery of this content.
The move to integrate technology in our schools has led many technology companies to develop their own interpretation regarding the requirements of e-Learning. There are numerous e-Learning solutions that generally approach schools as consumers more than partners in the development of the solution. This lack of focus on schools as partners in the process paved the way to the development of an interactive Learner, Teacher Support Material Platform facilitating education on life’s journey.

e-Learning and the Blackboard of the future

From its inception the u2e LTSM was designed to facilitate the integration of all e-Learning tools and content through an interactive and intelligent timetable linked to the the Annual Teaching Plan (ATP), provided by the Department of Basic Education, timetables.

u2e LTSM is an Interactive Platform that can function independent of connectivity and is designed to enable Educators to focus on teaching and learning rather than worrying about technology.

U2eLTSM was designed to facilitate the integration of all e-Learning tools and content through an easy to use interface and functions as an intelligent, interactive Platform that assists Educators in planning and managing their time as an Educator in the most effective way possible, including online evaluation and real-time management of in-class merits and de-merits as well as providing content, lesson plans, interactive videos: with question and answer pauses: slides, quizzes, worksheets, memos and more.
Having been deployed as a Proof of Concept since 2016, and utilised by educators, learners, parents as well as school management and administration and support, this has been proven to make learning, teaching and managing, (the core business of a School), as interesting and effective as possible.

School Economy

School Economy is an initiative based on the principle that a School is also a Medium Sized Enterprise. Leveraging off the operational costs of a school and its eco-system, a self-funding, income generating model, aimed at driving improved performance and to affect positive behaviour change. Utilise the School Economy Platform and earn off the normal day to day transactions of the school.

Self Sustainable

Based on the principle of “Use to Earn” with the resulting Earn allowing for more Use and thereby create the perpetual flow of interactions or transactions resulting in the continuous Earn, or generation of income: this could give cause to the establishment of a self-funding bursary model.

Learner Support

Content access, in line with the CAPS Curriculum, has always been at the forefront of challenges towards levelling the playing field in our education system.
In the universe of education, the school’s timetable is the common tool used in the facilitation of teaching and learning. The u2e LTSM Platform organises and leads all the activities of a school according to its timetable, place of education, content to be delivered, and the audience which it has to be delivered to.
The integrated real-time chat application is a closed loop function between the Learner and the Educator and is underscored with the highest level of security and auditability.
