School Mall

Integral to the School Economy is the School Mall functionality.
Developed as an online acquisition platform, School Mall has in its range of products all that a School and its Learners need to operate smoothly every day: be it an electronic device, stationery, teas and coffee or a tin of paint, it is all available on the School Mall. School Mall guarantees competitive pricing as a result of bulk buying and the ability to negotiate for and on behalf of schools at National, Regional and suburban level.
Utilising the School Mall, a School has an automated fund-raising tool that can enable the School to generate income from the School purchasing daily needs, such as:

  • Dry goods
  • Building, hardware and maintenance requirements
  • Stationery and electronic equipment
  • Tuck shop sales
  • Access to the marketing and advertising budgets of Corporations
  • Participating in discount and Reward programs from retailers and Financial Institutions
  • The redirection of bursary schemes to focus on learner classroom activities more than waiting for learners to complete matric.

The core aim of the School Economy initiative is to provide all stakeholders in the School eco-system, especially learners, with a self-funding income generating model, drive improved performance and to affect positive behaviour change. The core principle is encapsulated in the term Use to Earn: with the resulting Earn allowing for more Use and thereby create the perpetual flow of interactions or transactions.
This could have the ability to develop into a self-funding bursary fund.
a School partnering with U2E is enrolled seamlessly to the School Economy from u2e LTSM, the central point of entry, delivering links to the relevant content, information and services deemed to be of importance in delivering quality education, aligned to the various Departments of Education, and is then distributed to the required end-points through an online offline process.
